This service costs £250 and includes having an engineer come to your broken gate on priority and help you gain access to your property.

The purpose of emergency gate repairs service is to open or close the gate to help you restore access to your property. Our engineer will get the gate open or closed where it is safe and reasonably possible to do so.

Once we have accepted and confirmed your emergency gate repair booking, we guarantee that an engineer will attend within 1 to 24 hours.
This guarantee covers emergency attendance and the work needed to open or close the gate where safely possible. It does not guarantee that every underlying fault can be permanently repaired during the emergency visit.
A permanent repair may require:

Parts that must be ordered
A return visit
If further work is needed, we will explain the fault and provide your repair options.

We do not recommend replacing a gate motor or automation system simply because it has developed a fault.
Our engineers will first look for a practical and cost-effective repair. Replacement will only be recommended when the existing equipment is unsafe, beyond economical repair or unlikely to remain reliable.
You remain in control. We will explain the available options and will not order replacement parts without your approval.

Our No Fix, No Fee Policy
If we cannot repair the reported fault, you will not be charged the full £150 repair call-out or additional hourly labour.
A minimum £50 attendance and assessment charge will still apply. This contributes towards the engineer's travel, time and diagnostic expenses.
This qualification is part of our No Fix, No Fee policy and will be explained when your visit is booked.

Outstanding. I have a gate more tempermental than a hormanal teenager that evenutally stopped working and Raf came and within the hour totally sorted it. It ran smoothly for months and months ....but...my bad...totally my fault... naughty step for me...I didn't follow his intructions to clean the track and it got stuck this morning. I couldn't manually open it and I couldn't get the car out for the school run during a tube strike! Ahrrrrghhh. Within the hour he was there and yet again - total hero - he sorted it. Massive relief. He needs to be first on everyones emergency call when your gate is experiencing problems. I couldn't recommend him more highly. Kept searching and and found gate fixers and I’m over the moon. He came when he said he would, solved the problem with a very practical solution and also helped solve other issues with the gate that he spotted that I didn’t even know, all for a very reasonable price as agreed. There are not many genuinely honest people around these days (ie won’t over charge or maximise their own profit to your detriment with unnecessary work) but Raph is def one of them. Would recommend him very very highly. An encyclopedia of gate knowledge and the best at what he does.

Second time used the gate fixers, once for a call out qnd then to carry out motor relacement woeks recently. Costs were fair and Raf the engineer was a good engineer, being quite honest and helpful. So based on the above i would definitley use GF agsin and recommend them to others

We recently had our entire doorbell and gate intercom system overhauled by Gate Fixers, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience from start to finish. The project involved multiple internal monitors linked to our electric pedestrian gate and a complete overhaul of our electric car gate. What can I say - Amazing. The service from Raf from start to finish was exceptional. They deal with everything, ordered and installed everything for me and provided a warranty. It’s a one-stop shop where you don’t need to deal with anybody else. He initially came to look at the issue with my Came motor but didn't charge me for the call-out as the motor was beyond repair! That's a breath of fresh air in today's world where companies will charge you for each and everything. He removed the old motor and proceeded to recommend a replacement, ordered the new motor and came earlier than expected to fix it, but unfortunately, there was a mismatch in the wheel size with the new model. He tried to fit the old wheel so that he could still complete the job that day, but the size was just slightly out! He was not fazed he got on to his suppliers there and then and proceeded to order the required part then duly came back to install the new motor. It was an amazing job and gate works perfectly. I asked him to add another couple of photosensors for safety which he did even though it was a tricky job and he charged a very reasonable amount, just the 1-hour labour and cost of photo sensor even though it took him longer as it was a bit more difficult than expected due to having to run discreet extra power cables for both sensors. I wish all companies operated like this. Raf was always courteous, polite and professional, and he even turned up early (as he had a free slot unexpectedly), you can’t go wrong with this company! Don’t hesitate in commissioning this company for any of your gate needs.
